iPods fuel Guinness decline? According to a (humorous) article in the Inquirer, consumption of Guiness is down in Ireland and it's the iPod's fault: "Paul Walsh, [CEO of Guiness' parent company], revealed that the typical 21 to 25 year old is failing to follow his father's footsteps down to the pub. Instead, 'They're often putting their money into electronic stuff such as iPODs.'" More.

Microsoft's Credibility Questioned Over Longhorn A Computer Reller News article covers increasing concern among vendors in the wake of recent announcements of delays and feature omissions from Microsoft's upcoming new OS: "Partners are accustomed to product delays out of Redmond, Wash., but some say this latest slip of the storage system, code-named WinFS, combined with well-publicized delays to Yukon, is snowballing into a tremendous credibility problem."
