Netscape 4.5 issues: Netscape TalkBack not working?; Netscape email password memory; 'What's related?' and privacy

Netscape TalkBack not working? Netscape bug report feature not working? Netscape may automatically attempt to take you to a bug report page (after you relaunch the browser) when the browser senses that a problem (such as a crash) has occurred. However, several readers have complained that the page does not respond and no reports get submitted. Not all users have had this problem.
Jon Mircea suggests this happens if you connect to the Web via a proxy. However, some people report success on one occasion but not on others, even when connecting via the same method.

Netscape email password memory Having trouble finding the option to have Netscape 4.5 remember your email password? Here's where it was moved (as pointed out by several readers): Go to the Mail & Newsgroups panel of Netscape Preferences, select a mail server from the list and click "Edit."

'What's related?' and privacy A thread on the Privacy Forum discusses the fact that when you "press the 'What's related' button, the next three URLs you follow are reported back to Netscape." This could lead to the creation of a "detailed dossier of individual users' browsing habits." (Thanks, Monty Solomon.)
