More on Loss of Keyboard Shortcuts in Mac OS X Adobe Applications

CNET staff

We continue to receive reports of Adobe applications - including InDesign 2, Illustrator 10 and Photoshop - are losing keyboard shortcut capabilities under Mac OS X.

In addition to the problem caused by screen saver activation or the mounting of an SMB share, some users report that applications including InDesign lose access to certain menu functions after remaining open. Gregor Schmidpeter writes:

"After a certain time running InDesign you also loses the ability to acces the 'Undo'-command. Furthermore the cursor sticks to the black arrow. It doesn't change its appearence anymore regardless which tool you choose (for example the text tool displays the black arrow and no text cursor, though it still works properly)."
