McAfee VirusScan issues

The Virus DAT update page for McAfee VirusScan lists 3106_301 as the latest version available for download. However, a more recent 3107a version (as indicated on another web page) is out. You can get it directly from their ftp site.

According to Rob Collins: "The new release still does not address the AutoStart worm."

Terrence Thompson had system crash problems after installing McAfee VirusScan 3.0. He suggested checking the Network Associates message forum for similar reports. An FAQ page is also available.
