MacFixIt's 5th Anniversary!

It is perhaps fitting that on the week of the release of Mac OS X, MacFixIt celebrates its 5th anniversary. Our very first posting was on March 20, 1996 (the item recommended running Drive Setup 1.0.4 after updating to System 7.5.3!). We've come a long way since then. The site has evolved from the Sad Macs Update Site (its original title) to the much more full-featured site you see today. Along the way, we also went from being a one-person operation to part of the TechTracker network. And of course we have traveled with Apple on its roller coaster ride of fortunes and misfortunes. It's been a great ride. And the best part is that it's far from over. See you tomorrow for the official launch of Mac OS X!
