MacBook Air Bluetooth Firmware Update 1.0 released

Once again, no indication of what's improved.

CNET staff

Hot on the heels of firmware updates for the MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iMac, Apple has pushed out a second firmware update for the MacBook Air, this one to refine Bluetooth hardware operation. One again neglecting to offer any substantive release notes, Apple says only that this update "should be installed on all MacBook Air Systems."

After downloading the firmware update and running the installer, the updater application will be installed in the /Applications/Utilities and should be run from there. The update requires Mac OS X 10.5.1 or later.

MacBook Air Bluetooth Firmware Update 1.0 is available as a 1.2MB standalone download.
