Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) from a Troubleshooting Perspective #3: New developer tools mean faster revisions

Apple's new xCode set of programming tools will hopefully make for faster revisions to buggy applications - at least from a pure compilation standpoint. The addition of distributed build capabilities will speed this process even further.

In addition, Apple's new Zero Link function, and predictive compiling will reduce the turnaround time considerably.

The ability to modify applications' code while they are running is a major advance for those attempting to debug software. Run into a problem - fix it on the fly. Need to temporarily disable a function that is causing problems in the finished app? Disable it instantly.
