Fusion and Kaleidoscope: a glitch related to MS Portability Library

Fusion and Kaleidoscope: a glitch related to MS Portability Library

CNET staff
Todd Kelly found that, when using NetObjects Fusion 2.01 with Kaleidoscope 2.01, Fusion's Properties floating palette is cropped at the bottom so that you could not see or select the buttons in the palette. Disabling Kaleidoscope solved the problem.

Kaleidoscope tech support replied: "First off, try upgrading to Fusion 3.0. The Fusion team worked their buts off to make it more Mac like and easier to use. Secondly, once you do upgrade you'll notice that some things are still al little off. Using Kaleidoscope 2.0 with Fusion 3.0 works fine, but because they use the Microsoft Portability Library to develop it, many buttons and text strings don't show up in the correct place. We and the Fusion team are working on a fix for this."
