FileMaker printing: print range follow-up; EPS problem

Several users have confirmed the existence of the problem we reported yesterday with printing some instead of all pages in a document, and it appears there is also a problem with printing EPS files. John Weber writes:

"There is another glitch that only happens in FileMaker 5.5 and OS X: the inability to print Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) files. EPS files appear to contain only their screen preview, but not the embedded EPS info. The print output is a bit mapped mess. I spoke with Claris tech support, who acknowledged a problem but gave no firm explanation or fix. For the record, the same document with EPS content prints fine from FMP 5.5 under Mac OS 9."

Update: Two users have suggested potential solutions for fixing problems with printing and FMP. One fix is to print from Preview rather than directly. Another user found that deleting and reinstalling the printer from the Print Center fixed a problem with blank page printing problems.
