DiskGuard incompatible with USB Macs (iMac and new G3s)?

Christy Prestegard writes: "I ordered DiskGuard 1.8.x for my new blue and white G3 and called ASD on 1/18/99 for a CD version. I thankfully learned that the current release (1.8.4) is not compatible with USB machines and that an iMac user totally locked up his machine just by installing the software. A new release which fixes this problem (and hopefully the problem noted in your Norton-DiskGuard report) is due to be completed in the next few weeks. Check the ASD web site for update info."
