Assorted follow-ups to items posted here last time:

NetDoubler 1.5.2 Despite the implications of the item last time, a couple of readers (including Christian Volk) report that a "final" version of NetDoubler 1.5.2 does exist (they received a copy from Asante via email), although it is not listed on their Web site.

BookShelf 98 A couple of readers (including Kai Howells and Russ LaValle) queried whether the apparent lack of difference between BookShelf 97 and BookShelf 98 (especially as noted by the identical creation date, as mentioned here last time) is because, while the application has not been updated, the "data files" have been. I can only say that the reader originally reporting this was adamant that "not one change has been implemented."

Update: Raul Regalado contends that BookShelf 98 includes "self-updating list of Internet links" and other new features; it is not the same as the 97 version. [I don't intend to get my own copies to check all this out, so I will drop this issue for now, barring some definitive word from Microsoft.]
