Caution: Timeslips 6.0 demo modifies 5.0 data files

Corinna Wilborn downloaded a demo of Sage's Timelips 6.0. She currently has version 5 installed on her drive. She writes: "When I started it up, I saw first a splash advertising screen, and then a screen saying that I needed to 'upgrade my data.' I clicked OK." This was a mistake. The demo wound up converting her existing 5.0 data so that it would no longer open with Timeslips 5.x. Sage Tech Support confirmed this and told her she should have had her data files backed up before installing the demo. They also offered to sell her version 6.0 at a reduced rate. Corinna took this route, but discovered bugs in the new version that were not in version 5. For example: "In the TS Timer list view, clicking on an entry in the center of view will not select it; the view jumps around and some random entry then is highlighted."
