Canon on PowerShot and OS X

CNET staff
This Canon PowerShot page states (thanks, Darrell Kienzle):

"Currently, our Plug-in is not compatible for use within Adobe Photoshop 7.0 for Mac OS X. Anyone wishing to use our current Digital Camera Plug-in should use the current version of Adobe Photoshop running on Mac OS 8.6-9.2."

"The latest Digital Camera Solution Disk, v9.0 (bundled with PowerShot A100, S200 and S330)...are carbonized to work natively with Mac OS 10.1. The rest of the software bundle is not compatible with Mac OS X in Native or Classic Mode. Canon Inc. is working on OS 10.1-compatible versions of the remaining Canon Digital Camera Software Applications. In the meantime, anyone wishing to use the other Digital Camera Solution Software on a compatible Apple computer should use Mac OS 8.6-9.2. The Canon Digital Camera Solution Disk v9.0 will be available for $19.95 in mid-June."
