Disk First Aid in Mac OS 8.1 The new Disk First Aid 8.1 is almost three times as large as the previous version. It is still not clear what extra support this increased size brings (although my guess is that a lot of it has to do with HFS Plus support). However, one thing that I noticed (which has also been reported by several readers) is that the new DFA often reports "custom icon missing" errors that are not reported by previous versions of DFA. Whatever this error exactly means, the new version of DFA successfully fixes the problem.

EndNote 3.0 upgrade coming EndNote 3.0 is the soon-to-be-released update to the popular bibliographic database software. New to this version is the ability to link directly to Internet-based bibliographic databases.
