<b>Newer MAXpowr Pro cards: another modification needed?

Previously, we reported that Newer was offering a free modification to its original MAXpowr Pro cards in order to fix a conflict with Adaptec SCSI cards. Ed Sikorski got the modification, but had another problem unrelated to Adaptec. He writes: "The cards were incompatible with the Apple 9600/300 and 350 models. As the Newer engineers confirmed, Apple changed something on these designs that was causing the problem." They told him to send the card in for a second "modification" that would fix this problem.
