Bluetooth Firmware Updater 1.2: Disconnect during update
Yesterday we reported the release of Apple's Bluetooth Firmware Updater. Most users have installed the update without incident.
The only minor hiccup occurring on some users' system thus far is a disconnect of Bluetooth wireless mice and keyboards during the firmware update process. The problem is easily resolved by power-cycling the wireless devices. One MacFixIt reader writes:
"My wireless keyboard and mouse disconnected when the update began, but fortunately I had my old iMac's USB keyboard and mouse handy. After the update I power-cycled the wireless keyboard and mouse, and they reconnected."
