All content re-synchronized when minor changes made Some readers are reporting an issue where the Apple TV re-synchronizes all content after only minor changes in designated sync content are made.

One reader writes:

After initial sync, I noticed some movies were in an incompatible format so I decided to remove them from the iTunes sync list. All I did was uncheck about 4 movie items. When prompted about the changes, I clicked update. Even though I had 28 gb free on the AppeTV internal disk, the sync decided to delete my 2 gb of photos and upload them all over again. Slow over my 802.11b 11 megabit Airport."

Photos only partially displayed Meanwhile, some readers are reporting an issue where photos are only partially displayed on-screen on some televisions.

A reader writes:

"One of the main uses I wanted for Apple TV was photo shows. Since photos seem to be only shown using the Ken Burns effect and fill screen mode; many of my photos show without people's heads. Sync transfers the original resolution it seems, since the total fie size is the same as in iTunes as on Apple TV. Many of my photos are 5 and 8 megapixel. It sure would be nice to be able to zoom in or out using the up and down arrows on the remote."

Doesn't play content purchased from iTunes Further to our previous coverage of solutions for an inability to play purchased content from the iTunes Store on the Apple TV, Apple has published a Knowledge Base document with some more tips, including recreating the iTunes library, and de-authorizing then re-authorizing your account.
