Apple releases Safari Public Beta 1.0 v74

Apple has posted the Safari Public Beta 1.0 v74 to its Web servers. According to release notes, the new release improves how Safari validates the authenticity of Web sites that use SSL certificates.

Initial reader reports indicate that the new release is now compatible with some previously non-functioning banking sites, including Wells Fargo and others.
