The rumors of a new LG enV3 and a LG enV Touch are becoming hot and heavy now, especially with these new leaked pictures on Phone Arena. The LG enV3 is, as expected, the successor to the LG enV2 messaging phone from Verizon Wireless. The enV3 will have a 3.0-megapixel camera, an LED flash, a QWERTY keyboard, a larger external display, stereo speakers, Bluetooth, and a microSD card slot.

The more impressive device is the LG enV Touch, which is rumored to replace the LG Voyager. Like the Voyager, the external display will be touch sensitive. It also has a 3.0-megapixel camera with LED flash, plus a Schneider Kreuznach lens, a QWERTY keyboard, a 3.5-mm headset jack (we definitely like this), stereo speakers, Bluetooth, and a microSD card slot. However, the enV Touch will not have V Cast Mobile TV.

No word on pricing or availability, of course, but we expect to see more news soon.

I'm liking the fact that the spacebar is finally in the middle of the keyboard. other than that, it looks exactly like the original voyager

I actually like having the two spacebars on each end, it's never gotten in the way of my typing. Having the spacebar in-between letters would probably get in the way (for me personally) causing typos until getting used to it being there. All in all, for the Voyager having been on the market for 2 years, this is hardly a new design. Hopefully the new software will make up for that. The Env3 on the other hand looks good!

Agreed!! What the CRAP is the point in having a music phone if you dont have a normal headphone jack to listen to your MUSIC with your favorite headphones, or in your car, or wherever! I have the dare now and I use it all the time! As for the space bar in the middle i dont really care for that but im sure ill get used to it. I certainly got used to the voyager when i first got that one. My only other concern is size... The voyager was great but it almost had a sidekick thing goin. if the env touch is anything like the size of the dare just with a keyboard ill pick up 2 now!!

Nothing significant from the EnV2.

Unless the battery performance improves, there is absolutely no reason to upgrade.

No real exciting changes here. I have had the original voyager for probably a little over a year and it is almost exactly the same as the one pictured. It would be nice if the env touch has a new OS or a 3.5 jack but those things aren't going to make me upgrade. Now something like a larger OLED screen in addition to all that might make me interested. If it had Wifi it would be a no brainer for me. It doesnt look like its going to have any real major changes though which is too bad because it is a great phone, just outdated.

The thing that makes me mad is that if I want to get a smartphone on verizon I have to get the minimum $30 extra data plan. Now you cant even get a data block, its mandatory to pay. Its just not worth it to me to pay that much, but the rest of the (non smart) phones dont have the extra features I need. All I want is a phone with a real OS and wifi. No internet access or anything like that, but apparently that is just too much to ask. The best phone available for verizon that is not a smart phone is the voyager but to be honest the OS and lack of things like wifi make the phone sub par.

The battery life on the ENV2 is insane it is probably one of the longest lasting batteries out there, thats one of the highlights of the env2 not a bad thing.

Agreed. When I had the EnV2, it had the longest battery life I've ever had in a phone.
