This is new?
How is this different from Buy It Now, which has existed on eBay for years? Also, I agree with anarchyreigns, eBay DOES suck.

It's not new.
Ebay is just trying to skate around the law suit they are involved in regarding the "buy it now" system.

Also, what is the big deal? Nine times out of 10, you'd be better off buying the merchandise elsewhere.

Ebay has gotten too greedy.

What's so sucky?
Ebay itself is fine, but some of the people caught up in eBaying are
sucky, like snipe bidders, and folks that price their buy it now
auctions WAY too high, and those folks that sell PSP boxes for a
hundred bucks. Ebay's just a vehicle, and a pretty good one. Now
that the cat's out of the bag, it's harder to find garage-sale prices,
but that's not Ebay's fault.

Here's why eBay sucks
eBay sucks because they allow sellers to remain selling even when eBay knows they are seling fake stuff, or misrepresenting their items. It allows sellers to rip off and mistreat buyers. If these same sellers were renting space in a mall, they'd have been thrown out for being thieves or because they are abusive to customers. Nothing is done about these behaviors because eBay doesn't give a damn. As long as they get their fees, they will sic their sellers ony any innocent unsuspecting buyer that happens along.
