It's all the things you Crave! In this week's installment of the Crave vodcast, me and my guest, Bonnie Cha, talk about Hello Kitty madness, a Zune night light that plays music, and a laptop case that doubles as a pillow...the Napbook!

This week on the Crave vodcast, Brian Tong and Jasmine France show off some vibrating earbuds, a bag made for both beer and music, and the comeback of the Polaroid.

Also, hide the pets, because we might just turn Fluffy into a new iPod case.

Crave got a sweet ride

What costs $375,000, draws points and stares wherever it goes, and has carpet made of 100 percent pure panda*? It's the 2007 Rolls-Royce Phantom, and it's our ride for this week's Crave!

We run the gamut today from D.I.Y to totally pimped-out (plasma-screen stairway, anyone?). Donald has also posted his slide show and more info about the Little Professor MP3 player.

Thanks to Wayne Cunningham again for being our chauffeur for the afternoon! I knew that parallel park-off champion title would be good for something!

*Not actually panda at all, but it sure felt like what I imagine panda to feel like.

The nonwinner of the Parallel Park-Off (I hate calling him a loser), Kevin Massy, is with me today to talk about some gadgets that we covet this week on Crave. He shows off the Sharp Shootin' Remote Control, and viewer Juergen sends in an MP3 player for making your bath time all the more exciting!

But that's not all! We also included some outtakes from my trip to LA for the Star Wars convention, celebrating 30 years since the first movie was released! Smartly, I did not let it slip that I prefer Star Trek.

It's funtime for Crave at Maker Faire

Yes, I know Maker Faire was like, so last week. But these things take time, and so now I bring to you our Crave masterpiece from Maker Faire!

There was so much awesome stuff that Donald and I could barely keep track. We didn't have enough time to see everything, but there are a ton more clips available for your viewing pleasure, such as the hackable Roombas and an interview with Know How's Tim Anderson!

You've heard of the Pepsi Challenge, right? With the help of Jasmine France and Donald Bell, I do a very unscientific study in the courtyard of the CNET offices to discover which MP3 player our participants preferred! The results may surprise you (or not).

Next week, Donald and I have our recap of Maker Faire, the excellent D.I.Y. fest from Make Magazine. Here's some of the other CNET coverage from the event this weekend!

Crave: The great parallel park-off

by Veronica Belmont

I told you last week that we were going to have something special this time, and I wasn't kidding!

Welcome to the First Annual Parallel Park-Off, where our two competitors try their hands at parking a (tiny) car, in a space that will shrink with each round. It may sound easy, but it takes a lot of skill, dedication, and depth perception. In this episode of Crave, our competitors, Kevin Massy and Wayne Cunningham, face off in our beautiful parking arena!

Stay tuned for next week's episode, where I try to determine if the average human being can actually tell the difference between the sound quality in various MP3 players!

Rub-a-dub-dub, Crave in a tub

It's not that I don't understand the concept of a mini Bathtub Racer, I just don't see the point of it if you're clothed and/or not sitting in water. Without those elements, it might as well be anything! Where's the sense of adventure? Anyhow, here are the links for this episode:

Inflatable Crave

I am joined today by the wonderful Tim Moynihan, who schools me on the tech that I'm definitely going to need at some point in the future (brainwave-reading headgear, anyone?) We also ask the one of the most important questions of the year: Will it blend? A special thanks to CNET member Austin for that one! Here are the rest of the links for today:

Next week I'll be in Austin for South by Southwest! Hopefully I'll be able to Crave from there, but if not make sure you look for my daily reports from the show!
