This week brings us the debut of Bomberman on WiiWare, along with a sci-fi shoot-'em-up from the Super Nintendo era.
- WiiWare
- Art Style: Orbient (Nintendo, 600 Wii points): Art Style: Orbient has you testing gravity and anti-gravity through 50 stages of galaxy exploration fun. Merge with existing stars and watch out for black holes.
- Bomberman Blast (Hudson Entertainment, 1,000 Wii points): Bomberman Blast is a brand new game in the franchise that allows for up to eight players at once. Also compete online over Nintendo Wi-Fi and post your top scores to worldwide ranking board.
- Virtual Console
- Super Turrican 2 (1995, Super Nintendo, 800 Wii points): In this space-themed shooter, you'll fight your way through countless enemy ships, collecting power-ups along the way. As the last member of the United Freedom Forces it's up to you to bring peace to the galaxy.

I'm not going to lie, I've never heard of either of these two import games that just got released on the Virtual Console. If I haven't heard of them, odds are you haven't either--but here they are, ready for your downloading pleasure.
- DoReMi Fantasy: Milon's DokiDoki Adventure (1996, Super Nintendo, 900 Wii points): DoReMi Fantasy is the platforming sequel to Milon's Secret Castle. Rescue your kidnapped friend with a bubble shooter gun as your only weapon--good luck with that.
- Puyo Puyo 2: Tsuu (1994, Sega Genesis, 900 Wii points): Puyo Puyo 2: Tsuu is a head-to-head puzzle game where you must form same colored puyos in a chain or shape. Also an import from Japan, this title will cost an extra 100 Wii points.

Only two new games were released today for the Virtual Console. A puzzler from a familiar face and a side-scrolling beat-em-up game.
- Pac-Attack (1993, Super Nintendo, 800 Wii points)--See Pac-Man like you've never seen him before in Pac-Attack. One of the first games to remove Pac-Man from his white-dot labyrinth dwelling, Pac-Attack had gamers using the hero in a puzzle game in which you must gobble up ghosts to progress.
- Riot Zone (1992, TurboGrafx 16, 800 Wii points)--What seems like it was torn out of a page from the Double Dragon series, Riot Zone has you beating up goons from an evil crime organization. Choose to play as either Tony or Hawk (I'm not joking) in this side-scrolling fighting game.

A variety of genres round up this week's releases as we get a visit from Ryu, a grim future, and a classic shooter.
- Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos (1990, NES, 500 Wii points)--With this sequel came a brand new enemy, Ashtar. You'll once again take on the role of Ryu as you attempt to rescue a kidnapped CIA agent.
- Metal Marines (1993, Super Nintendo, 800 Wii points)--Metal Marines is a real-time strategy game that takes place soon after an antimatter war has disintegrated most of the planet. We've all been there.
- Gate of Thunder (1992, TurboGrafx 16, 800 Wii points)--Gate of Thunder is a side-scrolling shooter where you assume the role of Hawk and battle an army of Obbellon fighters.
