Yahoo improves Trip Planner

Yahoo said it is set to introduce on Monday new features to its Trip Planner, including the ability to create travel journals to share with others and to see other peoples' trips on an interactive map.

Yahoo is also integrating Trip Planner into its main search site, so users can search for travel information by typing in a destination name and the word "trips." MasterCard is sponsoring the Trip Planner site and creating a cobranded microsite. Yahoo launched a beta of Trip Planner in October.
