Yahoo launches Q&A service

Yahoo was set to launch on Thursday a free beta service, Yahoo Answers, that will allow people to ask questions online on any topic and get answers from anyone who wants to answer them. The questions and answers will be archived and searchable.

Users also will be able to get questions and answers on their favorite topics on their My Yahoo page or any other RSS (really simple syndication) reader.

I think that in Google Answers not everyone can answers the questions only specialists. And the answers are not free. Check it out the description at Google Answers:

Cause their email support isn't worth a damn...

Everytime u email Yahoo support you get the response "We could not replicate that problem from our end" and that's all you get from them.

There is already a great service doing this where a lot of people bid to answer your questions on any subject at expertbee.com

I just used expertbee and really didn't learn anything. The supplied answer was trite, useless and contained inaccuracies. Expertbee is more about answering pointless questions rather than helping anyone do anything.

Unfortunately I was scammed by expertbee before I read any of the warnings. I can't believe their website is still online.

I called my local police dept today and made a report.

How can we try to prevent other people from getting scammed?

I think ExpertBee does a great job too!!

I have used ExpertBee.com myself, several times. I have gotten great responses from qualified people. I am very happy with it.

I think the key is to pick the highly rated experts. In any case, I think the scam would be the people answering your questions, not the website.
