Xora gets $7 million first round

Xora said Wednesday it received a $7 million first round of funding from Wit SoundView Ventures.

Xora, based in Mountain View, Calif., provides software that connects applications that run a company's back-office operations to wireless and wired devices from phones to personal digital assistants.
