Xircom unveils Bluetooth for notebooks

Xircom announced on Thursday its first Bluetooth product. Bluetooth is a wireless radio technology that allows electronic devices within 30 feet of each other to share information.

The RealPort2 Integrated PC Card will connect notebooks to other Bluetooth-enabled devices. It will be available in April for $159. Later this year, the Thousand Oaks, Calif.-based company will also release a Bluetooth add-on, the SpringPort module, for Handspring's handheld computers.
