People might be more apt to subscribe to the service if they could tune in on devices they already own, the thinking goes.

I think it's a great idea for XM and Sirius to expand to other devices that traditionally have music. It's even better that they are getting the gadget manufacturing companies to create the products instead of trying to manufacturing the products themselves.

It's smart of XM and Sirius to stick with their satellite radio service and not try to be something they are not by attempting to manufacture clock radios, cell phones, digital media players, etc with satellite radio capabilities. It's better to leave that to the pros.
