XM, Starbucks burn new CDs

XM Satellite Radio and Starbucks' Hear Music division announced on Tuesday a new series of CDs. The debut compilation features tracks from established and emerging singers. It will be available at Starbucks stores, starting Aug. 3, for $14.95.

Among the 13 tracks are original songs from Tracy Chapman, Jewel, James Blunt and the John Butler Trio. Each compilation will feature exclusive tracks, the companies said. The deal is an extension of a content and marketing alliance between the two companies.
