Worldview, Netscape Form Travelocity

Worldview Systems and Netscape Communications are planning to unveil a travel service on the Internet next March called Travelocity. The service will be based on Netscape's software platform and will make use of Sun Microsystem's Java programming language and JavaScript.

Travelocity will allow users to make and purchase airline reservations, chat with other travelers, and order travel guides.

Other travel sites include CyberTrip, Conde Nast Traveler, and Travel Weekly.
