WildTangent launches mapping application

WildTangent, a Redmond, Wash.-based 3D Web graphics start-up, launched a new product called MapStream. The Web mapping application speeds panning and zooming, according to WildTangent. The application also lets people search for businesses represented by 3D-branded icons, opening the product to advertising by companies with a physical presence. Before MapStream, WildTangent focused on Web games.
