Wikipedia's current search engine needs work
The search box on Wikipedia now barely searches at all.

Even a minor error/misspelling/typo in a search on Wikipedia means not finding what you are looking for.

If I am searching for information on Wikipedia, but I am unsure of the article title, I usually have to go to Google it in order to search just Wikipedia.

Take "Search Algorythm" for example, a search on wikipedia returns "FPCB" with 8.4% relevance.

Search the same word on Google, and they spell check the word to Algorithm. The first match? <a class="jive-link-external" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Search_algorithm" target="_newWindow">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Search_algorithm</a>

Maybe someone over at Wikipedia should read it.

Spelling is your problem
From what you say the search engine works fine, it's your spelling that is in need of help.

In this age more and more people are expecting computers and programs to know what the want instead of what they asked!!
