This was a week of new faces.
CNET got a preview of the new table-top computing system from Microsoft. Called Surface, it is aimed at changing the face of casinos, cafes and video game arcades. At some point Microsoft wants it to be priced for general consumers. Facebook has rolled out some new widgets. And two of our in-house characters stage a face-off between Facebook and MySpace.

Giant computer blends reality with virtual reality CNET News.com's Ina Fried gets a demo of Surface, a project Microsoft had kept under wraps for five years. Using a giant table-like display, users are able to draw, interact with media, and use another new technology called domino tagging.
