Let's not forget the biggies ...
Let's not forget eBay repeatedly, and for days on end, acting like
a wheezing old clunker in dire need of a tune-up. (Oh, excuse
me, those were "temporary glitches.")

all insults aside
I've got a question - why exactly is Wordpress on the list of services? It's neither like Blogger or Typepad in that users need to depend on one common server's hardware and uptime. It's freely distrubuted software that bloggers maintain on their own servers.

Not only has Wordpress NOT failed, the 26th of December saw a whole new and imporved final version 2.0 - and it is SWEET.

Funny thing....
.... I didn't know that Web 2.0 even existed. Maybe one of these
days, I'll take a look and see if it serves any really useful purpose.
