Waveset brings in $13 million

Waveset Technologies on Tuesday announced that it received $13 million in a third round of funding from its previous investors.

Lightspeed Venture Partners, Austin Ventures, Origin Partners, Silverton Partners and AV Labs contributed to the latest round, bringing Waveset's total funding to $30 million. The company, based in Austin, Texas, develops security software and specializes in identity management software. Waveset plans to use the money to broaden its products and expand internationally.
