Voter.com closes its doors

Voter.com has become the latest political Web site to close shop because of money woes. The site, which offered political opinions and information about races and candidates, made it at least through the presidential election.

"We set out to build a fully integrated political communications and consulting company, and we succeeded," Voter.com Chief Executive Justin Dangel said. "Unfortunately, the financial market conditions worked against us."
