Virtual Entertainment will begin selling at the end of this month Vote America, an interactive CD-ROM priced at $19.95. The CD-ROM lets voters follow the 1996 presidential campaign with in-depth info on issues, candidate biographies, video clips, animation, and photos.
Users will be able to download updates and campaign news via the Vote America Web site. The interactive link will also be used to conduct polls gauging users' opinions on candidates and issues.
The CD-ROM will include an issues-comparison chart that enables users to compare how candidates stand on issues ranging from gun control to welfare reform. An Election Guide will provide an overview of the campaign process and a time line with dates and info on election events.
