Via brings PCI Express to AMD-based computers
PCI Express has begun replacing the older PCI technology; newer chipsets from Intel support the new connection technology, though there was one glitch using PCI Express on servers. Via's K8T890 supports AMD's Athlon 64, Opteron and Sempron processors.
