Verizon makes Treo 600 available

Verizon Wireless and PalmOne announced Monday the availability of PalmOne's combination cell phone and organizer, the Treo 600, for Verizon's subscribers.

The cellular carrier began selling the device to its large business customers earlier this month, but will now sell it at its retail stores and its Web site for $449.99 with a two-year contract and $499.99 with a one-year contract. The Verizon-branded Treo 600 will come with Intellisync's e-mail software, Wireless Sync.
