McAfee grabs Foundstone

August 16, 2004

IT services provider Unisys has chosen to use McAfee's Foundstone vulnerability management technology as part of its managed security services offering, McAfee plans to announce Tuesday.

Unisys will use McAfee's appliance-based security product to help manage risk for its customers by identifying security vulnerabilities, correlate those against potential attacks, and remediating threats, McAfee said. Unisys will also use the Foundstone product to scan client data center infrastructure to determine whether configurations are in compliance with security policies, McAfee said.
