Ulead updates video editing suite

Ulead Systemsreleased an updated version of its VideoStudio consumer video editing software on Thursday. New features include scene detection, fast/slow motion effects and the ability to create graphics overlays and 3D animated text. VideoStudio 7 also supports Intel?s hyper-threading technology found on 3GHz Pentium 4 processors and dual AMD processors. A downloadable version is available immediately for $89.95, with boxed copies selling for about $100. Registered VideoStudio users can upgrade for $44.95 by download or for around $50 at retail stores.
