How real are these numbers?
Other companies like MS like to ship far more then they could sell in two years. Then they call how many they ship 'sales', even though the majority are sitting in warehouses.

Are these real numbers or just cooked numbers?

Good Numbers
Apple has been good on their numbers in the past, and if anything,
they tend to go on the conservative side. But take caution when
"others" are reporting numbers concerning Apple. I am going to go
out on a limb and say that iPhones sales should match 300k units
per month on average. This figure also matches other products that
Apple sells (Mac sales for instance). Discloser: this is my guess,
not number figures from Apple Randys2cents

Bad numbers? In denial, are we?
These are hard times for Apple-denigrators. It's just getting
harder and harder to sell the old Apple is dying line. Boo-hoo-
hoo.
