- Yahoo: Brand in seach of a product.....
- From the very beginning Yahoo has been a company built on
nothing. Virtually nothing it offers is original or isdispensable.
One wonders what all the hype is about. The original concept of
an indexed service was abandoned in the hopes of out-googling
google with the remnants of the product from Inktomi. that
hasn't worked. Terry Semel managed to collect huge salaries
and bonuses and in true modern CEO fashion did nothing. Yang
seems almost naive in his approach to do something, anything
with Yahoo. I have a suggestion: how about letting it die the
slow death that it deserves?
