Adware on my phone?
Android eh? Does this mean we'll be served up ads and be tracked in our smartphone usage by Google? No thanks! I'll avoid that at all costs buying a WimMo phone, iPhone, or Symbian device.

"ight now, there are no phones in the market....
... You can find some of the phone manufacturers making pre-release versions. You can't buy them yet, but I think next year you can," Torvalds said". So, what is the Linux market share in the "desktop" space - OS/2 being the the Operating Systems that was built for the "internet". (re: "But last month Web search leader Google said it will offer an open-source software platform, built on Linux, to make the Internet work as smoothly on mobile phones as it does on computers".)

Read this - "Hey, IBM!...
... Set OS/2 Free!"

"What's toughest about getting IBM to open OS/2 up, though, is the amount of third-party code within the system, which would have to be replaced or removed entirely. Some of that code is courtesy of, you guessed it, Microsoft, which worked closely with IBM to create some key portions of OS/2. (This happened back when there was some possibility that OS/2 would also form the basis for what became Windows NT.)

If anyone out there still has a toe or two in the OS/2 pool, speak your minds!"
