How will the new customers affect TiVo?

I need you IT types to speculate on how these new customers will effect TiVo. Does more revenue mean better features, poorer service, more and far better IPTV is my hope, I'm tied of TV programmers scheduling all things of interest at the same times.

TiVo's Comcast Rollout

I've been waiting to see this TiVo-Comcast service for awhile now,
but now that the article indicates that they are going to be using
Scientific-American boxes, I won't even consider it... I'm currently
using CableCards in my TV's & TiVo HD, so that I don't have to
have those cheap ugly boxes in my house...

What else?

What sort of TiVo/Comcast rollout were you expecting? The plan from the very beginning was always to incorporate TiVo software on Comcast provided settop boxes.

Too bad Comcast sucks

They never keep service appointments, they never fix anything
right on the first, second, or third time, they over-charge for
everything, and they can't deliver 20 minutes of HD video
without some form of glitch that wipes out the audio and/or
video.

I cancelled them, and I use my two TiVO series 3's with an ariel
antenna, and my life is more joyous as a result. Any shows I
miss that were cable only get purchased through iTunes or
through Amazon Unboxed. I couldn't be happier, and I'm $100 a
month richer.
