TiVo loss less than expected

Company's net loss grows, but it bags more subscribers, nudging shares higher.

Still a loser

Tivo keeps trying, but it continues to be a losing proposition.
Fnancially, they are continuing on a major slide towards Chapter
11. Fuctionally, they are about to get wiped out by DVR capable
computers. And Tivo continues to ignore the glaring lack of
computer/network hardware and software integration
capabilities in its rather simplistic designs.

So Tivo is likely to wind up in the dumpers. One of these days I
might find a reason to care. In the meantime, it's interesting
watching a dubious technology answer trying to find a
significant consumer question.
