This is why they are gonna fail

Once I noticed the popup ads on my tivo the other night, that was enough to put me over the edge. I have not only experienced my tivo crash and freeze up since the latest update, but to pay for additional advertising being pumped into my screen, enough. I bought a Media Center PC the next day and I love it so far. No more monthly bill and popup ads from greedy tivo.

BTW, I got the tivo as a christmas gift, and only got 5 months out of it before I was forced to ditch it due to their greedy ways.

Good reason to cancel my Tivo if they force advertizing on me.
