I love the mp3 format dearly, this is not a flame or rant but mp3 is good as a portable medium or for ripping albums off and storing them. When it comes to serious critical listening, CD at full bandwidth or good old fashioned vinyl through a decent deck is where its at.
FIdelity should be exactly what it was on the CD.... It is simple to
*not* have low fidelity music on your iPod.
