I never liked the IPOD
I never liked the IPOD. First, It's By Apple, and as a DieHard Windows Fan, that is Cardinal Sin #1 for me. Also, they are not compatible with any DRM WMA files, so Apple has a monopoly. Basically, if you have an IPOD, you can ONLY buy digital music from Apple, whereas if you go with PlaysForSure from Microsoft, you can shop at over 10 (or more) online music stores such as WalMart Music Downloads and MSN Music. Also, IPODS are becoming the conformist approach. People think they are cool because they have an IPOD, but now everyone has one. It's cooler to have one like the Creative MuVo where you can also use it as a thumb drive. Also, the whole IPOD SHUFFLE idea, that it is cool to blindly look for songs, whoever thought of that, in my opinion, should be shot!

Down With IPOD
My Opinion

You're Kidding Right?
Hmmmm. One of the best designed personal enterntainment
devices ever ... and you don't like it because it would be a "sin"
against Microsoft. You go boy!

I see you are willing to commit other sins, in order not to
commit that sin :-) ... Like oh, LYING. You can play any AIFF,
MP3 you want on your iPod, which means you can purchase/
aquire from any source you desire. By the way, AIFF and MP3
are the standard, open file formats for music. AAC is used not
only for DRM, but also for encryption, and if you didn't purchase
the AAC using iTunes, then the resulting AAC is completely
portable. But you didn't know that since you woud rather be
full of ****.

LMAO, yes, it is a bad idea to "conform" to a better product.
Dude, I can't believe how full of it you are.

In Canada, TD Canada Trust, one of the 5 major banks, also offers a free iPod Shuffle (512M) to anyone who transfers his/her checking account to TD, as well as automated transfers, either a direct pay check deposit, or two automated debit from public services/mortgages. The offer ends soon. I signed up early in June, and received my iPod early this week.

TD Canada offer expired August 12
The TD Canada offer for a free iPod shuffle expired on August 12, 2005. Several of my friends and my sister changed bank accounts to get their free iPod shuffle. They are still waiting for their iPod shuffle.

A local clothing store did that recently...
Dawahares (a chain of clothing stores only in Kentucky) gave you a free iPod Shuffle if you bought over $300 of merchandise......But I prefer an mp3 player with a SCREEN.
