The cell phone that does everything, sort of

Samsung's new A800 can take photos, scan in business cards, record videos, play TV shows and transcribe speech. But how well?

Advice from S. Korea, Samsung's home turf
I'd stay away from any Samsung crap - their quality is not what they claim. Even here in S. Korea, Samsung is notorious for "crappy" quality and "exaggeration" of everything... I have always had nothing but problems with their "atrocious and unreliable" Samsung's esp. Laptops, HDDs, CD-ROMs, and, recently, Cellphones...

Hope this help.

if you can't adapt to changes
then of course you are doomed to degenerate :) there are people who always find the need to complain. i find it hardly possible to understand why the new systems, efficient structure and design of a cell phone could be a such a matter to make fun of. too bad if some people can't handle that kind of sophistication and intelligence to use to his or her own advantage.

How's that again?????
"i find it hardly possible to understand why the new systems,
efficient structure and design of a cell phone....'

The argument is that a huge pail of half-ass functions
emplemented poorly in a gutless cell phone by an apparently
less than reputable company is not 'efficient'.

The key word seems to be 'convergence'. but no one seems to
understand the inherent bounds on 'convergence'. It's a sad
statement of product design capabilities/

LG SC8000 does it better!
We have supplied our staff at Korean-Arts.com with the LG 8000 (available in Korea) and it does nearly everything the Samsung phone does, only better: good 1mpixel pictures, decent video recording, ability to email pictures, well functioning PDA with full-time internet, MP3, and voice recorder. It has proven invaluable for our purchasing staff to record and instantly email new product info.
