TechTV, ABCNews.com to share content

On-air and online network TechTV says it has inked a deal with news Web site ABCNews.com to exchange technology-related editorial content that will be featured on both sites. Under the deal, TechTV said it will provide ABCNews.com with the latest technology news and product reviews each week. While the stories will be branded as TechTV content, they will appear on ABCNews.com's Web site in the Science and Technology and MoneyScope sections, according to TechTV. In addition, viewers will find related links to relevant stories on TechTV.com.

TechTV is owned by Vulcan Ventures--the investment company of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen--which purchased it from Ziff-Davis in November 1999 for $320 million. In March, TechTV launched a live news program, dubbed Tech Live, aiming to bolster its coverage on breaking technology news. ABCNews.com is a news service of ABC News and part of the Walt Disney Internet Group.
